Description

The Ziga Dam, a concrete structure with a capacity of 200 million m3, was set up in 2000 to regulate drinking water supply in the capital Ouagadougou. The project includes work on 43 km of pipes for raw and treated water with an intermediate tank, reservoirs for pumping stations and water towers, water treatment plants and networks for distribution structures. The target population is about 1,475,000 inhabitants.
