As part of the promotion of rural development in the country's most deprived governorates through the development of agricultural roads in irrigated public areas, the General Directorate of Rural Engineering and Water Exploitation (DGGREE) plans the identification and feasibility of 800km of agricultural roads in high production areas spread over the national territory, followed by as-built drawings and the preparation of tender documents for 500km of rural roads.
