Technical, Economic and Environmental Feasibility Study of 9 Water Tables Artificial Recharge by Treated Wastewater

Description

The project aims at the artificial recharge of 9 water tables in Tunisia from treated wastewater produced by 10 wastewater treatment plants, and covers 6 regions (Zaghouan, Sousse, Mahdia, Medenine, Gabes and Tozeur). This project is part of the development of integrated water resources management and confirms the will of the Tunisian authorities to encourage the development of treated wastewater utilisation for agricultural purposes.
