Water Transfer from the Athmania Dam to the Koudiat Medaouar and Tallizerdane Dams

Description

The project aims to transfer the Beni Haroun Dam waters to the hinterland high plains via the buffer dam of Athmania. This transfer concerns a volume of 302 million m3/year and will mainly be used for the irrigation of some 44,000ha and for drinking water supply in the Teleghma, Khenchala and Batna-Ain Touta counties.
