As part of strategies and policies aimed at the sustainable management of natural resources of the Niger River Basin and the reinforcement of economic development, the Niger Basin Authority and its Member States initiated the Water Resources Development and Sustainable Management of Ecosystems Project in the Niger Basin (PDRE-EDG 1).
