The rural electrification project by extension of the Interconnected Network (PERERIN) consists of the electrification of 35 rural communities in 7 departments of 3 regions of the Far North (Adamaoua, North and Far North) through the extension and densification of the medium and low voltage networks. This is carried out to connect 4,444 new subscribers living in rural areas.
