Description

The project consists of an irrigation project covering 200,000ha area in the Accra Plains and involving about 470,000 inhabitants. It includes conducting and implementing a strategic development plan and a master plan for the irrigation sector. The goal is to allow both the development of peasant farming and the promotion of intensification and diversification in the context of agribusiness. This project aims to increase the contribution of the agricultural sector to GDP formation to 25%.
