The strong growth in traffic recorded in the Praia airport platform since its opening to international flights in 2006 has been hampered by limited space in the terminal, inadequacy of parking area and lack of infrastructure and navigation assistance equipment. The project consists of the extension and redevelopment of the terminal, the aircraft parking area and the renovation and equipment of the terminal.
