The Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR) plans to create the Cité du Savoir on a 12ha area in Diamniadio. The city will house, among other things, all governance and evaluation structures, including headquarters of the MESR with all its departments and services. The area allocated to the Ministry's headquarters is approximately 1.2ha.
