The development of Tunis South Lake and its banks conducted in a dense urban environment allowed the recovery of 1,500ha of prime land with all required amenities: roads, drinking water and sanitation networks, public lighting, telecommunication network including fiber optic. This development allowed to reduce congestion in Tunis, a two million inhabitants city in 2000.
